The Season For Giving Back
Before we left Australia my children collected over 100 books which were kindly donated by their school friends.
We brought them with us to Tanzania and the week before Christmas we visited an orphanage where we donated them.
WIPAHS Orphanage is in Kibbaha, Tanzania, near where we were staying. A humbling and rewarding experience, we enjoyed lunch with the children before handing out the books.
These children didn't have a home to go to over the holidays, so the books were gratefully received.
Here we are with the founder of the Orphanage, which was opened in 1998 with just four children.
It was such a pleasure to visit WIPAHS, and witness the amazing work they do, and to be able to give back at the time of year for giving.
